A DM’s Best Friend

Omega’s Campfire, or simply CAMPFIRE is a system for organization for a DM’s folders. I have paired this system with a series of generators that export into this format, designed to be read in the Obsidian note taking application.

The CAMPFIRE System: Your World, Organized.

Tired of scattered notes and lost ideas? The CAMPFIRE system gives you a powerful, intuitive way to organize your entire Dungeons & Dragons world. From the smallest goblin to the grandest quest, CAMPFIRE's logical folder structure and smart templates keep every element of your campaign exactly where it should be. Stop digging through messy notes and start building a more immersive, consistent, and unforgettable story.

    • The "At-a-Glance" System

Imagine a character folder where you can immediately see their CHARMS template, giving you quick access to their motivations, relationships, and stats. This is a system that allows for quick reference in the heat of the moment.

    • The "Story-Weaving" System

The connection between folders, like linking a character in "Characters" to an adventure in "Adventures" or a location in "Places," creates a web of interconnected notes. This makes it easy to tie different elements together, ensuring your world feels cohesive.

    • The "Never-Lose-An-Idea" System

With a dedicated folder for everything, from magic items (Relics) to historical tidbits (Myths), you'll never lose a creative idea again. Every piece of inspiration has a home, ready to be used when the time is right.

    • The "Pre-Session Confidence" System

The "Episodes" folder and the PATH template provide a clear checklist for session prep. A DM using this system knows they have covered all the bases—from monster stats to planned encounters—before they even sit down at the table.

Forge Worlds. Tell Stories. Be a Dungeon Master.

Ever wonder what it's like to build your own world? As a Dungeon Master, you're not just a game player—you're the architect of adventure. You create the heroes and villains, the bustling cities and forgotten ruins. You tell the stories that captivate your friends and bring a world to life, one session at a time. It’s a rewarding challenge that taps into your creativity, improv skills, and a love for collaborative storytelling. If you have a passion for fantasy and want to create experiences that last a lifetime, this is your next adventure.
